Slow Roll Saturday: Voinovich Bicentennial Park

Our second Saturday ride of the 2023 season is upon us, and a peek at the forecast reveals a much drier time than last month's slosh around Slavic Village.

Come join us at Voinovich Bicentennial Park, just north of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, just east of Cleveland Browns Stadium, and just west of the East Ninth Street Pier. You'll find us near the script Cleveland sign that frames a perfect viewpoint of downtown and the Rock Hall.

We ride at 2 PM, so start gathering early, because parking in this area can get congested. We advise that you do NOT park on pier itself (it is paid parking only, and sometimes very limited depending on events that are happening in the area. You'll fare much better if you search a little westward, past the Rock Hall and near the Great Lakes Science Center and the stadium along Alfred Lerner Way. The Science Center does have a paid garage as well, and additional (paid) parking can be found in the lot near the USS Cod. Your call, but we prefer to ride in from further into downtown to this area; we're all on bikes, after all.

This will be the 14th ride of the season, and after this, we take next Monday off before returning Aug. 14 in the Lee-Harvard area (expect details for this ride, including exact starting location, by early next week)
