About the event
We continue to roar through August after a torrid July, venturing to the furthest into Lake Erie you can get in Cleveland: the very end of the East 9th Street Pier and Voinovich Park.
The park, which juts into the lake surrounded by a number of the city's biggest attractions, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Goodtime III, has hosted several rolls over the last few years, and includes a climb on cobbled streets into the flatter areas along the marginal roads, but make no mistake: you will see a lot of downtown Cleveland this Monday.
We'll be on site from 6 PM onward, with the ride departing at its traditional 7 PM starting time.
We do want to point out that as we head into the latter half of August, the inevitable slide toward darkness at the end of our rides has begun. Please make sure you bring lights with you, and consider lighting up your bikes and making them really bright, fun and visible as the season goes on. By the end of the year we look like a river of lights and it's a mesmerizing site for anyone watching us roll by, so start thinking now about how to make that happen on your own rides.
