About the event
We'll stay on the east side for the seventeenth week of our always free, always inclusive social bike rides, heading to the Buckeye-Shaker/Union-Miles border to start from Luke Easter Park.
Formerly known as Woodland Hills Park, the sprawling greenspace -- the largest urban park in Ohio -- was renamed in 1980 in honor of former Cleveland Indians slugger Luscious "Luke" Easter, who became a fan favorite in his short career in the big leagues, known for his prodigiously long home runs. The Zelma Watson-George Recreation Center, near our ride's starting point, includes a roller rink, gym, track, and basketball courts inside its year-round roof.
We start our ride at 7 PM as is usual, but you can meet up with us any time after 6 PM for t-shirt sales and help with registration (which can also be done by simply visiting slowrollcleveland.org and looking for the "Click Here to Register…
