Slow Roll Week 17: West Park and Jefferson Park

Fresh off nearly 400 folks enjoying our first ever ride in the true southeastern borders of our city, we're ready to keep it rolling next Monday on the opposite side of town.

We've made frequent visits to Jefferson Park in the past, and it informally serves as home base for much of our offseason squad training. That it sits in one of Cleveland's true international neighborhoods is also a plus; you'll find everything from falafel to Irish stew to an authentic German beer hall to the best slice shop this side of Brooklyn in this neck of the woods. West Park/Jefferson/West Boulevard is one of Cleveland's best kept secrets.

We ride out of Jefferson Park at 7 PM; you can start gathering any time you like, but we'll be set up closer to 6 PM for merch and waivers.

Keep in mind that the season of dark rides is approaching quickly. Bring lights for your bike and as we ride into fall, start thinking of your ride as a very tiny parade float. When we mass in the hundreds, we create a moving spectacle, a spontaneous parade that moves around the city almost randomly, or at least that's how it appears to others. Embrace the nighttime rides!
