Slow Roll Week 20: Old Brooklyn

We wrap up September by heading to the southern part of town, out Old Brooklyn way, at pleasant Loew Park, not far from the bedrock institutions of Honey Hut Ice Cream and Jack Frost Donuts; if you've not spent much time in Old Brooklyn, it's hard to describe how much this part of town revolves around diners, taverns and treats.

We'll have some representatives from Old Brooklyn Community Development Corporation on hand before this ride, which rolls out of Loew at 7 PM, so check in early and find out what's going on in your neighborhood. We're open for shirt sales and waivers at 6 PM.

After this ride, we'll take a week off and see you again in October to begin the last stretch of rides for this season, taking us all the way to our annual Halloween blowout at the end of the month.

Night is coming quick to our rides these days, and we're barely halfway through most Mondays before the skies grow dark, so you'll definitely want to invest in some lights to jazz up your rides as the season rolls on. They're must not only for the rides remaining in our 2023 season, but our off-season rolls as well, and there will be several as we traverse the end of one season and the beginning of a brand new one next spring.
