Every new feature brings both joy and pain. Joy — because the product grows. Pain — because UX starts breaking. I keep asking myself: how do I keep it powerful but simple? I want users to feel in control, not overwhelmed. Maybe I need a better prioritization system. Or the courage to cut things out. If you’ve been here before, I’d love your advice.

Adding features can improve functionality, but too many can harm usability. Designers must evaluate whether each feature contributes meaningfully to the user experience. Grouping, prioritizing, and simplifying interactions ensures users are not overwhelmed. Maintaining a balance allows a product to stay powerful while remaining approachable, keeping the interface manageable for both beginners and advanced users.
