Quick way to recycle my old smartphones responsibly
I have about three old smartphones sitting in my junk drawer that I’ve been meaning to get rid of for years, but I never knew the best way to do it. I finally decided to check out one of those automated kiosks at the local mall to see if I could get a little bit of cash back for them. I was actually pretty surprised at how fast the machine was able to scan the devices and give me an instant quote for their value. It’s a much better alternative than just throwing them in the trash, especially with all the talk about electronic waste these days. I like the idea that the components will be recycled or the phones will be refurbished for someone else to use. Has anyone else used these kiosks for tablets or other small electronics, or is it mostly just for phones? It was a very convenient experience and I’m glad to finally have that drawer cleaned out.
